We want every author to feel confident in working with Liberty Hall Publishers. This policy explains when refunds are available and how cancellations are handled.
Deposits secure your project slot and cover initial planning and manuscript assessment. Deposits are non-refundable once editorial or design work has begun, but are fully refundable if you cancel before any work has started.
If you cancel after editing has begun but before it's complete, you will be billed for work completed to date (based on pages/words edited), with any remaining balance of prepaid fees refunded.
Design fees become non-refundable once concept drafts have been delivered, reflecting the creative work completed. If you cancel before any concepts are delivered, design fees paid are refundable in full.
Once your book has been submitted to a retail or distribution platform, publishing fees are non-refundable, as third-party platform processing cannot be reversed.
Marketing services already executed (ad spend, press outreach sent, campaigns launched) are non-refundable. Unspent, unscheduled portions of a marketing package are refundable upon cancellation.
Email hello@libertyhallpublishers.com with your project name and reason for the request. Our team will review your project status and respond within 5 business days with a refund determination based on work completed.
Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within 7–10 business days.
